Delivering the Albert T. Bilgray lecture at University of Arizona and will be Scholar-in-Residence at Temple Emanu-El of Tucson

Rabbi Yoffie will be the Albert T. Bilgray Scholar-in-Residence, from 2/27/14 – 3/1/14

This lecture series is co-sponsored by Temple Emanu-El of Tucson and the University of Arizona.

The Bilgray Lectureship was created in 1985 to honor Albert T. Bilgray, Rabbi Emeritus and Professor Emeritus at the University of Arizona. In the course of more than a quarter century, Rabbi Bilgray created and helped develop three programs at the University: Hebrew Language and Literature; Religious Studies; and Judaic Studies. This Lectureship seeks to perpetuate two primary emphases of Bilgray’s career through both a popular as well as an academic presentation on Jewish life and literature.
